Marc Weingard joined the firm in 1995. His practice concentrates on the areas of commercial litigation and bankruptcy.
Mr. Weingard appears in both State and Federal courts on behalf of clients involved in a wide variety of lawsuits, including litigation involving breach of contract, employees' and businesses' restrictive covenants, construction law, contractor's indemnification, trust funds disbursements, and municipal work projects, as well as issues involving fraudulent conveyances, preferential payments, and other bankruptcy related matters.
Mr. Weingard is admitted to practice in New York (1990), and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. He is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, Suffolk County Bar Association, and the New York Bar Association. Mr. Weingard received his Juris Doctorate degree from Hofstra University Law School in 1990.
